Rwanda : Customer care campaign extended to districts

Customer care campaignThe Rwanda Development Board (RDB) has extended its customer care campaign dubbed ‘Na Yombi’, to districts of Rubavu and Nyabihu in the western and Northern provinces respectively.

Na yombi –which literary means- “with both hands- is a campaign aimed at ensuring excellent Customer Care with focus on the private sector by developing skills in quality service.

During the launch of the campaign, the Rwanda Development Board urged the business communities in Rubavu and Nyabihu districts to improve their customer care and service delivery as a way of marketing their business.

Some of the businessmen and women in Rubavu and Nyabihu, said that the Na Yombi program is very vital in improving their businesses however they noted that the are some entrepreneurs who still underestimate the importance of good customer care.

Laetitia Umwali, the RDB official also noted the campaign has so far bore fruits in areas where the program has been extended and in communities which have been educated on the importance of customer care.

She called on the private and public sectors to put their focus on improving their customer care as a way of improving service delivery and ensuring a steadfast development of the economy.

The Na Yombi campaign focuses on priority sectors such as; the Hospitality industry, Tourism, Transport, Retail, Banks and other financial institutions (Private sector) and Health, Local governance, Rwanda Revenue Authority (Public sector).

The Na Yombi communication campaign team invites partners to improve customer care in Rwanda with the objective of providing stellar, world class service to both visitors and residents of Rwanda.

With the participation of stakeholders, RDB aims at achieving this goal within a measurable period of less than three years.
