Youth in Kiramuruzi and Gatsibo Sectors have been urged to look for a better future that is prepared along the way as employment is not found only in towns but everyone can create work.
The advice was given out during the 35 day DOT training closure on 12th.March.2013. The 35 days training was prepared by DOT Rwanda in the partnership with sobanukirwa.com as well as Gatsibo District to promote youth in the District’s ‘Hanga Umurimo’ government program.

In this training, youth trainees were taught about 25 subjects especially on job creation, trading, ICT, using internet and life skills.
Jean Felix Ntango who is in charge of preparing trainings in DOT Rwanda in the Eastern Province of Rwanda says trainings prepared by DOT Rwanda are meant for youth between ages of 16 and 40 both men and women.
Ntango said, “Today we are giving certificates to 123 youth from Gatsibo sector and 57 from Kiramuruzi sector and we hope that they will make productive the knowledge they acquired from this training by creating jobs for themselves and other Rwandans.”
“I am now aware that making a project, one needs to know the population and their needs and make a project to fulfill their needs” says Chantal Mukasekuru a trainee and a resident of Kiramuruzi sector.
DOT Rwanda operates in 29 districts among the 30 districts of Rwanda excluding Nyamasheke district of which DOT Rwanda is planning to start operating in it soon. DOT Rwanda takes care of all the expenses encountered in these trainings.
