Different age groups are rising up to the Job creation program in Gatsibo district
Youth in Gatsibo district have been advised to embrace ‘Hanga umurimo’ (job creation) program by acquiring simple skills and forming cooperatives for fast development.
Youth in Gitoki sector,Gatsibo district said they have taken a step towards social economic development after acquiring welding and carpentry skills and forming cooperatives
Thomas Nsengimana, one of the entrepreneurs with carpentry and welding skills says that ‘job creation’ program is very crucial in his daily life.
Nsengiyumva explains that he helps youth to learn welding, carpentry and other skills free of charge though he still faces challenges of lack of materials for demonstration.
The vice mayor for economic affairs in Gatsibo district, Isaie Habarurema confirms ‘job creation’ program has improved entrepreneurship. He advises youth that every job done well values the creator and leads to development.
Youth are urged to embrace job creation program focusing on forming cooperatives as a way to sustainable development.
