Nyabihu district has embarked on constructing Selling points small markets to curb trading in chaos in most parts of the district. These Selling Points are helping people to buy and sell goods without fear of getting on the bad side of the authorities.
According to the vice mayor for finance and economic development in Nyabihu district Angela Mukaminani, these Selling Point are solution to chaotic trading in most parts of the district.
“these Selling Points have become a solution to people who live far from markets, they are able to buy and sell foodstuffs on a daily basis in conducive environments” says the vice mayor.
These Selling Points were built in areas far from big markets to encourage trade among local people. They will provide for people’s needs and remove chaotic trading in cells.
Nyabihu district has 4 Selling Points in 4 sectors of Rurembo, Kintobo, Jomba and Jenda. Residents of Nyabihu district were asked to use these Selling Points as expected, provide for their families and achieve personal development.
