The government has improved service delivery in its Public sector as opposed to the Private sector that is normally ahead in offering better customer care, Kamonyi residents said last week.
Residents revealed this during the public sector evaluation in Kamonyi district on service delivery, saying the government has put considerable efforts into customer care that has seen great improvement ahead of Private sector
Claver Hakizimana, in charge of small and medium enterprises in Job creation program in Kamonyi district reminded private sector that it’s in their best interest to offer good customer care.
“The customer is the king and good customer care is the foundation of development,” He says.
Claver Hakizimana urged the business community to work hard and benefit from their capital by offering good customer care in the competitive community.
“Sellers say purchased goods are not returnable. When you send a child for something from the shop, it’s not replaced if the item brought was not your choice,” Said Francoise Uwineza; a resident of Kamonyi
She adds that some shop attendants use false scales and make unnecessary profits.
Commenting on the taxi drivers, Uwineza said that some still overload and become unnecessarily rude to the passenger that tries challenging them.
